The FIN3385 and FIN3386 convert 28-bit wide parallel low voltage (LVTTL) data into four serial low voltage differential signaling (LVDS) data streams. Phase-locked transmission clocks are transmitted in parallel with this data stream based on separate LVDS links. Each transmit clock, 28-bit input LVTTL data loop is sampled and transmitted. the FIN3386 receives the 4/3 serial LVDS data streams and converts them back to 28/21-bit LVTTL data, acting as a de-serializer. For the FIN3385, the 28-bit LVTTL data is transmitted at a transmission clock frequency of 85MHz at a rate of 595Mbps per LVDS channel. This combination addresses the EMI and line size issues associated with wide range and high speed TTL interfaces.
